school and drug abuse plus gangs and violence

why in the world is there so much violence in school? that is the only place that you should be able to go to get away from all the drama I mean i know there is a lot of people that may hate on your style or the way you act but why bring the guns and fighting into school where it's like a second home to you and other people you may care about. I'm searching these sites to find a great website on drugs in school and other bad influences.
